History

Birmingham Metal (Special Products) was established in 1987. The purpose of the Company was to manufacture products principally from Precious Metals, namely Rhodium, Platinum, Gold, Palladium, Iridium and Silver to ISO 9000 International Quality Control Certification Standard.

The Company initially supplied international companies based in the UK and has progressively expanded to supplying companies throughout the world with Wire, Targets, Evaporation Material, Sheet, Rod, Electrodes, Dishes, Crucibles.

Products are made from the highest quality precious metals and are used in Universities, Laboratories, Glass Industry, Audio Equipment and Hospitals (Oncology Department); having numerous Research, Medical and Scientific applications.
